- Story and storyboard drawing:
In order to produce a 3D animation, the scenario and story plans are written first and next, pictorial scenario or storyboard will be ready. Storyboard is situated between 2 steps of writing a scenario and illustrating.
- Visual Development:
Visual development includes designing every single element of each scene meticulously such as surroundings, objects, characters, and other stuff.
- Modelling:
At this step, animators create 3D objects using 2D drawings and then add collar, texture, realistic shadows, and details of the images to surfaces.
- Making Move and Animating:
Now, it is the step that objects are placed in the right spots and next their movement path in the scenes will be described.
- Special Effects:
At this point after the details are created
on the surface of characters’ and objects’ bodies, they’ll be moved or animated. (For instance, as the wind blows, characters’ clothing or hair moves.)
- Digital Effects:
At the sixth step, the elements are made that are the result of either moving objects or smashing them to each other. (For instance, explosion or somebody’s footsteps on snow)
- Lightning:
This stage is about the lightning and lightning in animation is pretty difficult as it requires considerable amount of knowledge and skill. Lightning is separately applied to scenes and characters. Sources of light are put in the scenes and then will be arranged in accordance with the storyboard.
- Composition:
Eighth step is about arranging the elements of the scenes in accordance with the precise composition both dramatically and aesthetically. This is when the final step that is creating the final appearance of animation is made. Finally the sound will be added.
- Rendering:
Up until now, object, scenes, and motion are formed and illustrated. It’s time to process it that it will be all done by a computer and the final production will be ready.
